The Season of Reflection & Resilience

We’ve officially hit the holiday home stretch, and the vibe across San Diego is incredible right now. The crisp winter air has finally rolled in, and the holiday party season has rolled out. 

Like so many of us do during this time of the year, I’ve been taking a quiet moment to reflect on what 2025 truly meant to me. Real talk: this wasn’t our "biggest" year by traditional metrics. We navigated a landscape of unique challenges, from properties that tested our patience to the highest fallout rate I’ve seen in my entire career. The market, as a whole, certainly made us earn every inch of progress.

But honestly? That is the nature of both business and life. One year you’re standing at the summit, basking in the glory of the view; the next, you’re back in the valley, learning and growing. With all that said, my heart has never been fuller. The families we served and the relationships we forged this year made every hurdle worth it.

This year was a powerful reminder that real estate isn’t about the quantity of closings; it’s about the depth of the connections. Helping a family find their footing during a complex year is infinitely more rewarding than simply hitting a sales target.
